Electric Vehicle Interior UX Study

An industry collaboration using ERP to evaluate in-vehicle interaction design and user experience.

Funded by Deloitte. Role: participant.

This industry collaboration focused on user experience research for electric vehicle interiors. The project examined how touchscreens, physical controls, steering wheels, audio systems, instrument panels, and ambient lighting affect users’ perceptual, cognitive, and emotional responses.

We adopted a multimodal evaluation framework that combined subjective assessments with electroencephalography (EEG)-based event-related potentials (ERP). I contributed to the experimental design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of multimodal findings for design decision-making.

Although detailed results are confidential, the project produced evidence-based insights that were well received by the industrial partner and supported user-centered design improvements in intelligent vehicle systems.
